  It was the start of Newleaf when ThunderClan didn't show for the gathering. And a few days later when we noticed their scent markers were fading. After some arguing, Flystar agreed to send a party to check up on ThunderClan, and I insisted on joining, in case they'd need medical aid. The small party was made up of Swallowfang, Charredfoot, Darkpelt and me.

  The stars felt as if they were falling that night, waning and winding in some painful way, though it didn't seem like anyone else could see it. The tension was seeping into our every step as we padded through ThunderClan territory, stale and empty. We heard movement through the undergrowth around us, but found no scent or sign of a living cat. And when we finally arrived at ThunderClan's camp, we saw something we could never forget.

  ThunderClan was dead.

  Cats I knew and never knew - the kind, the quiet, the rude - all dead in their bedding. Dewstone, the aloof Medicine Cat was dead in the medicine den. And the once healthy Fogstar was dead in hers.

  I felt as if the ground was soaked with blood, pooling beneath my paws, although the camp was notably bloodless. We inspected the bodies as best we could in that moment, and I noticed that despite the deep wounds, it seems as if the killed cats didn't bleed. I could only guess that they suffered very quick deaths at the paws of... something with sharp claws, at least.

  Our party couldn't stand to stay in that camp any longer, and we needed to tell Flystar and the other Clans. The stench of death and sound of flies clung to us as we left. Our world warped in a single night. Or perhaps it already was, and only now did we see it.

  As we walked back to ShadowClan, my eyes kept trailing to the sky... The stars were still swaying. Were they restless? Were they afraid? Were they excited? And I kept watching as silverpelt coiled into dawn.

Recently, I had the sudden idea for a Warriors story. With elements of horror and mystery. In my mind it would ideally be a game with branching paths based on what you chose as Brightgaze and whether or not you could figure out what happened to ThunderClan.
There's more to it, of course, but I'm going to save it in case I pursue this idea furthur with a project. I almost definitely am not going to be able to make a game, but I may post images with a written story to follow along... One day.... and probably not soon unfortunately.

Anyway that setup aside, I also had the idea of these, like, bio cards that were collected through the story as Brightgaze's perception changed. And they were collected as Brightgaze learned more about the character, and you could keep track of perhaps,, suspicious individuals.
They're also in the style of trading cards, just for funsies. Top left shows what Clan or group the cat is currently in. The star indicates both importance as a character (at least their significance in Brightgaze's perspective) and they gain stars (from zero up to three) to indicate a great change and/or increased importance in Brightgaze's life.
And the little bio text includes a little blurb about the character. Little prophecies, that may appear in Brightgaze's mind. Though how useful they are varies. Some cats may not even have one.
Oh and also deceased characters will be indicated by bloodstains on their final card (well final, unless they have a card of them in the afterlife)

Idk the idea is fun to me at least and I enjoyed drawing this after a long period of finding it hard to draw due to life events. I hope to make more cards of the characters in the future, for my enjoyment if nothing else.
