She always kept coming to me. I thought she might be doing it on purpose, always in the medicine den sick with hairballs again… she’d talk to me longer than anyone else did. Figured she was probably trying to shake some kind of secret or knowledge out of me. Or maybe just trying to distract me. And yet the more I talk with her the more I somehow doubt that.

It’s strange. Mothstorm’s nice – I really like having her around nowadays. Especially since Barkvine has gotten more quiet lately, Mothstorm has been the only cat I feel like it’s easy to talk to. I guess that’s how it feels when you talk with someone long enough; It becomes natural.

But at the same time, I’ve been having visions about her… I think. It’s the same one coming to me for a while. Whenever I’m near Mothstorm I start seeing little moths fluttering around. The darker it is, the more I usually see. I can tell they aren’t real, landing on her unnoticed or curiously flying through her. They like to land on me too, I do my best to ignore them.

Then after some time (sometimes short, sometimes long… I can’t figure out whether there’s a pattern to it) One of the vision-moths flies right into my eyes. Which wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t feel the imagined thing so vividly. Mothstorm, of course, noticed me flinching whenever I talked with her. So I’ve told her how I have visions sometimes, and that’s from one of them. She believed me. I’m glad she isn’t too nosy about the details, like how some cats are whenever I mention my visions.

And yet she keeps talking to me… Maybe I’m thinking about it too hard. Maybe she does just see a friend in me, and not some curiosity to pry into, or a personal StarClan prophet to describe every detail of her future. But when I think about what my vision for her is trying to tell me… I think she annoys me.

finally... this is done... I have worked on and off the art for this card for way too long. Got most of the way through painting it, before scrapping that and starting over because I didn't like how it looked. I've decided I don't need to use my painting style for all these cards and it might even be more interesting if I experiment with other styles. Anyways, I'm very happy with how this art turned out in the end!

So here's Mothstorm's first card! No lore blurb here for now, because I'm struggling with writing it and I'm tired of delaying this card for so long lol. Hopefully I'll have it done soon, and then I'll update this description to add it ^^

finally... this is done... I have worked on and off the art for this card for way too long.
