Most DayWings hatch in full sunlight, since that naturally triggers them to hatch once they're ready. But occasionally some DayWings hatch at night, and even a bit more uncommon some happen in between day and night.
Full light DayWings are most common
No light DayWings are uncommon
Half light DayWings are pretty rare

Anyway I hope this reference clears up some confusion around the whole Dullwings thing a bit, maybe ^^'
I also tried to show slightly different face and horn shapes in this too. The shape of their face or horns has nothing to do with the light stuff, just to clarify

Also something:
DayWings who are animus usually get into more artsy fields they can use their magic in, like painting, performances, music or jewelry
while Daywings who don't have animus powers (mostly DullWings) are usually left to do the less fun stuff like farming, baking or even building, which are stuff animus dragons could do, but it's mostly just left to non animus dragons to make them feel a bit more useful
this whole system isn't very strict though, if a DullWing wanted, they could still be a painter or performer. Or an animus DayWing could help build for a living.

also I just noticed my recent uploads have had three 'subjects' or characters in them
definitely not because i have any involvement with the illuminati, of course
no involvement at all
