I really tried to draw a SharkScale ref for a character I haven't done yet, but apparently my hand wants to draw cats right now so that didn't turn out well.
I'm making do by picking out some old favorite villain Warrior Cat characters of mine and redesigning them with a new, more wacky look for fun.

So, meet Eclipse and Blaze, two rogue baddies part of large group looking to take back the rightful territory of their ancestors which the clans took from them. I was planning on drawing Blaze's sister, Sunshine, but I think I'll save her for later.

Honestly, I've had this story since I was much younger and it wasn't the pinnacle of quality story by any means, but it kinda sucks that now my original plot with the rogues is really similar to the whole thing with Darktail that happened in the Warriors books. So I'm actually trying to twist the original in new ways to differentiate it some. Anyway;

Eclipse was born in this rogue group (who didn't considered themselves rogues, but that's what the clans did,) and almost immediately seen as a "Prophecy-bringer," very rare cats who were sent with special powers by the group's ancestors (basically their StarClan, though they work a bit differently and dislike StarClan cats.) The leader of the group was told this in a dream, and he quickly began raising Eclipse up to fulfill his Prophecy-bringer destiny; which was to take back what was rightfully theirs.

The leader was more of a peaceful, old tom, who rather wanted to convince the clan cats that they belonged in that territory and should at least be give part of it. But Eclipse started insisting that the group should fight back and seek revenge - kill the clan cats, like they kill them - even while he was still young. And cats who believed he was a true Prophecy-bringer, began rallying behind him instead.

Including a young she-cat named Blaze. Who had lost her own mother and father to those terrible clan cats. The clans were certainly more "rogue" than they were! She whole-heartedly backed Eclipse up, defending him and listening intently to his prophecies. One of which being; that she, Blaze, would play a key part in keeping the group alive.

So needless to say, Blaze and Eclipse were very close. Blaze was practically his deputy when he took the then dead leader's place. I suppose they're mates, though they weren't super lovey-dovey, just extremely loyal to one another (a bit more-so, Blaze to Eclipse, but Eclipse did trust her more than anyone else.)

Anyway, Blaze did become pregnant with his kits at some point while they were attempting to drive out all the clans (pretty effectively, mind you) and she still fought fiercely while pregnant, which was possibly a bad idea but she was serious.

The clans had their own Prophecy kit on their side however, one she-cat who would put an end to Eclipse in the final battle, but died herself in the process. The clans actually lost their territory after everything was said and done, but were saved from being entirely killed because Eclipse was finally dead. Now the clans had to escape and find a new territory to call home.

That's how my main story originally went. I think I chose an interesting turn where the clans actually lost (but not entirely.)

After the fall of Eclipse, Blaze was heartbroken but determined to hold the group together to raise her kits where they would be safe from clan cats, and in their rightful home. As the new leader, she did a lot to organize the group in the new territory and keep things running fairly smoothly (while still passing on praises of the cat who brought them here, Eclipse, to all the new members.)

But after some time, some tension grew between Blaze and her sister, Sunshine, and it all ended in the group splitting into two. I hope to tell more of that along with Sunshine's side of the story later.
Because she is pretty cool.
