so I hear a new arc is coming out. I am mildly excited about it even though I haven't read the books in a good while lol.
Here's some of my initial designs for the 3 protags.

Flamepaw is just a black cat in canon but I see a lot of fan interpretations of him as a tortie, and the idea of him having one orange paw (like one white paw) is too good to pass up. Who knows what his personality is gonna be. I personally just made him very awkward here.

Sunbeam! I like her name. I made her anatomy pretty similar to how I imagine Needletail but bigger and slightly fluffier. Her white spots are also in similar places, but shaped like a sun on her chest ‘cause why not.

Frostpaw here is meant to be like 6 moons old - she’s a new apprentice, so she’s still little. I originally made her more of a dilute tortie, but I went with a more gray design in the end. Always loved the idea that medicine cats adorn themselves with plants, so here Frostpaw is covered in some duckweed or something.

Anyway it was fun to come up with designs for these three.
