I apologize for the font used in these tutorials. I can't remember why I chose it in the first place but I kept using it so the tutorials would have some continuity in the form of layout.I was asked for this so here it is. I'll try to make a less confusing version if I find the time. I hope this will help some of you and that the instructions are clear enough to understand. Explaining has never been my strongest asset.
If there's anything that needs clarification or if you want to know more, just ask!
Sorry I don't have good pictures of the result! I'm wearing my dreads so can't model for these at the moment and the styrofoam head with the purple foam dreads was damaged on its way to Finland from USA! (It was shipped with the wig and the falls on it.)
NOTICE: I like to do things from scratch and I don't have much money so my equipment and materials may not be the easiest ones. So that's what I aim for my tutorial to show: how to make things with nothing extra or very fancy.

I'm not that good at making dreads myself yet... I mean I have the knowledge and the skill but the outcome isn't always as pretty as I had been hoping

Thanks, I always feel like they're too complicated or too simple (and then people will get mad at me cause they think I believe them to be idiots XD) but I'm glad they're clear... I'll try to make the synthetic dread one as soon as I can, but that can take a while though...

Really helpful tutorial. would be a good note to add that foam falls look better and stay on stronger if they are worn as high pigtails instead of low ones. you can hide you hair with a headband better if they are higher up than you can when they sit low on your head. =]

Yeah, I thought of that while making this... People have been asking me how to mount dread/cyberlox/foam falls so I think I'll cover that whole subject, when I do make a tutorial for that (:
