Ben looks back up from his watch, and sees that Gwen was in the ready to attack. The hero ran a bit closer, screaming to his comrade.

"KEVIN! LOOK OUT!"

Kevin quickly turned back towards his now fully formed adodite girlfriend. The mana she threw towards him seemed to be darting at him in massive speeds. But to the boy, the attack itself was going in slow motion.

Regardless, Kevin still didn't have time to dodge, or to even absorb anything before the pink mass of enery landed square in the middle of his chest. On impact, it threw the heartbroken boy into a wall next to the wooden crate, just beyond where Ben had been standing, watching his cousin lose all of her strength, and control with her own powers.

Ben quickly ran to his friend, helping the older boy to his feet.

"Kevin! You ok?!"

Kevin uses the wooden crate as leverage. Gwen had hit him with quite the blow. Noticing that she had knocked the wind out of him, as he slowly got to his feet. Struggling to catch his already, shallow breath.

"Yeah, just peachy."

All Kevin could do at the moment was stare at the pink glowing form, slowly making her way across the ware house. Ben couldn't help but lay a friendly hand on the older boys shoulder.

"Kevin."

"What!" The raven haired teen snarled back. Still trying to gather some air back into his lungs.

"We can't just take her attacks like this. We..." The hero pauses for a moment, and then continues. "We have to defe-.

"I'm not fighting her." Kevin says in such a small mumble, that Ben couldn't even understand, let alone hear.

"What?"

"I said, I'm NOT fighting her!"

"Awwe... And ruin my fun?"

Gwen had levitated over to the other two teens. Her expression showing much pleasure on what she was recieving out of this 'little' game of hers.

"No. I won't do it, Gwen...." Kevin said simply. His face softens, and he abruptly looks away from her. "I just... I just can't.... Pound me into the ground for all I care." He slowly turns his attention back on to the anodite. "I'd rather you beat the crap out of me before I'd even think about fightin' back."

Gwen looked a bit bemused. Sort of 'put off' on the raven haired boy's words. It some how struck deep with her, and the girl didn't know why. She was obviously confused. Seeing the older boy so sad, and distraught, brought out uncertain feelings that were quickly coming to the surface. Small memories, and emotions, most still quite fuzzy, but yet, they were there all the same.

The anodite's confused features quickly faded. The girl swiftly levitates away from the two boys. It seemed as though the glowing teen was fighting demons with in her own mind, and she began to look panic stricken.

"Kevin?" She whispers, while lifting her shaking hands up to her face. "What... What have I done?"

Kevin's eyes widen. Unsure if he should approach her. For all he knew, it could've been her anodite form trying to play tricks on him. To drive him closer for another close encounter attack. "Gwen." He stammers. "I..."

Only Kevin didn't get to finish. The ware house began to glow once more. Only this time, it wasn't Gwen's doing.

A figure appeared out of no where, displaying a dark blue cloak, quickly making it's way over to the three teens. Kevin and Ben automatically readied themselves for another attack. But the intruder stopped, and quickly removed the large hood from the top of it's head, taking a good look around the now, half destroyed ware house. Quietly letting out a small snicker of amusement, and offering a gentle hand to the young anodite.

"Gwendolyn? Come here dear.... We have much to talk about."
