Wahooo it's finally finished! I've LOVED this design since I saw the Captain America movie back in 2011. There's a few different types of variations but I went for the sequened lapel and hat one.
I slowly collected materials for it but didn't start sewing it until last month. And now it is done! The FB group that is dedicated to making these outfits and Kathy, one of the admins who patterned out pieces and posted guidelines, were a HUGE help since there's so many in-progress photos and details. Seeing other members' progress really helped too. I don't think I've ever done a costume that was so well-documented as far as construction details go like this one.
