Wait, no, that's not right-- translating a book (especially a King book) into the language of cinema is a seriously difficult thing to do-- I've never seen King do it well with one of his own books-- and Goldman's treatment of Misery is a textbook example of how to do it RIGHT-- I guarantee King would tell you the same thing...
