I originally had the eyes drawn in but decided against them pretty much for the reasons you stated here. I was trying to ramp up the mystery/creep out factor on a character that is dressed all in white which is a challenge to begin with.

how is it a challenge to make a guy like moon knight look creepy? the guy went and literally carved out a bad guy's face and then he keeps it in a little treasure chest in his room (which he puts on from time to time). this is, creepily enough, all true, as seen in moon knight issues of recent years

As a reader or fan of the Moon Knight books something like cutting off a guys face (and wearing it apparently) is creepy but to Jane and John Q. Public who doesn't read the books Moon Knight is unfortunately just a guy in white pajamas and a hood running around at night.
So of course I meant it more from a visual, not familiar with the books and mythos, standpoint so the confusion at my comment is understandable.

It's also a good way to warm up before hitting the table as well.

I felt the same way, so I decided to try entering the DSC myself just this once. I'll upload my sketch of Valkyrie in a bit...it's nothing fancy (in fact it's incredibly rough) but it did warm me up.
