And what says about in "my veeeeery humble perspective " is that ...
Yu need to be very good in classic methods .. and expecialy "pencil drawing" to aply bether Digital paint techniques ...
Because painting is not painting only ...
Colour is a secoundary part were value and volume and tone in grayscale is everything
Then for that the degree of classic pencil draw "is extremly" necessary ...
Then well we can conect to what i was saying backthere on the renascentism they discovered that ..
And when we think that in oil painting what matters is the colour like in "modern painting" they do ...
no ... its completly the contrary ...
The importançe "the value" is into the underdrawing ...
"then" if you want to be a mater painter ...
You should learn ho ho wow draw and do values in pencil ... "in graphites" ...
For incredible that might seam ...
"that is" the best training for a digital painter ...
To develop is values and volume and shading in what he do ...
But then there is a diferençe in art status ..
Yu can be a simple "colorist" ...
or a painter ...
To be a colorist ...
