Sheoldred, Evile Creepstress Extraordinaire, sucking the essence from an unfortunate Mirrodinian, who's only crime was to be foolish enough to inquire after the sign outside, "Free Whatever it is that Delicious Humanoids Like!"The model described having her soul devoured as "kind of hot, tickly, and slippery like a bubble bath! ... But also horror braided with agony and pure despair, indescribable by the feebleness of words. Can I get my $20 and go now?"

Really glad I checked out the larger version of this art. Sooooo much is lost in the card sized picture. Get to actually see how elaborate and alien Sheoldred is up close
What are the praetors exactly in the official fluff? I know it probably varies between all of them, but I have long wondered what their origins are exactly. Are they Mirrans turned scary? Are they malicious beings that just sort of popped out of the black oil in Mirrodin's core?
One other thing: What, functionally speaking, is Sheoldred? Some sort of spider-crab thing? I see the poor Mirran here has had her arms bound up in something that I'm guessing Sheoldred did using her body as opposed to a can of silly string. I think I heard somewhere that her body can separate as well.
I was hoping since you worked somewhat close to the source you could help shed some light on the subject.

I hate to be that guy, but, really? Is lady gaga going to now officially be the point of comparison for EVERYTHING? Even MtG? Really? She wishes she was this amazing and creative. I mean people are aware that gaga doesn't design or make the crazy crap she wears right? People send her stuff, then she wears it. End of story.

Don't be ashamed. At least you have the ABILITY to form thoughts at this juncture. The only reason I can type right now is because I'm not currently looking at the work. For a moment I stared at it like, then-like so many hours of internet surfing have trained me to do- my then Cro-magnon-like brain told me go down. After that I stared at the comments for a good ten minutes before I remembered what the buttons below my laptop screen actually do...
