Ben Reilly (also the Scarlet Spider, the second Spider-Man and Spider-Carnage) is a fictional character in the Marvel Comics Universe. He is a clone of Peter Parker (Spider-Man), and is prominent in the Clone Saga. He first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #149Related content

You know I actually perfer the clone saga then this brand new day stuff but great art. I actually like the scarlet spider and his supporting cast who Marvel would rather forgot about.

What always bugged me was that the hoodie was never up! I felt it would look cool that way. I always said to myself that if I ever got around to drawing S.S. I would draw him with the hood up!

Yeah it looks pretty cool that way. It's a shame he got killed off. It would have been cool to see him and Peter on different sides during civil war before Peter switched.

Very. I always find it annoying when people insult the Scarlet costume (like in a recent issue of Amazing Spider-Man). If anything I prefer the Scarlet Spider costume to the main one.

Both of Ben's costumes (the scarlet spider and the spider-man) were excellent. The blame for that horrible storyline rests solely on the writers and editors.
