EDIT:PLEASE READ THE COMMENTS AS WELL!!! There are a lot of good suggestions from other crusaders on how to crush the bug we call art thieves.
I was recently asked by a new member of #Doombringers how to report images.
Instead of going into the details, I thought I would make a tutorial on how to do it for people new to deviantART who are looking to make it a better place for everyone else.
This tutorial goes over just how to report for theft, but as you can see, there are many different things on deviantART that need reporting.
If you need any help with other categories to report, please do not hesitate to ask.
If you also need to find a link to another place a deviation is posted, use TinEye to find other places that it could be posted, that way deviantART will delete the offending images.

aracnify.deviantart.com/ - posts art without permission. Has a journal that admits to reposting stolen art. The problem is it is art stolen from professionals and the high res unwatermarked images he posts makes it easy to print and sell them, which hurts the artists who make a living selling prints.
Why is there no way to report a user for this?

deviant art just removed this from the report section
now it basically say's "oh you think someone stole? that's cute read this if your confused ( protectart.deviantart.com/jour… ) and if you're absolutely sure they stole it then good for you!"

This user trace my work and now I don't know how report him anymore... He put the credit AFTER I spoke to him even I ask to REMOVE the picture, It's so sad.

ProtectArt ruined the permission issues and the 3rd party reports.

An Art Theft user has been stealing my work for the last few months. the user even blocked me from commenting on any of "his" uploads. Yet, after reporting the user for the stolen art, the user never got banned. Lol

Hello,
There is this user called davadava7 coping names and images of peoples art (including myself) of SF-A2 Miki. But he/she is drawing her own picture. But on his/her description it gives the link to go search the image up on YouTube and on the description on YouTube he/she claims it to be her work.

I can't report him/her on this site because he/she did steal the art he/she only stole them and put them on YouTube and claimed them as his/her own. And he/she pretends to be Chinese? But I have a feeling there is nothing we can do about it. I wanted to report him/her on YouTube but it soon started asking for where I lived and I felt like they were taking it too far just for reporting a picture.
And when you block people on this site it's worthless. they will still get to your art no matter how hard you try.
All I could say is that this person is addicted to SF-A2 Miki, and this person has some issues he/she needs to fix.
if it is even possible, we might be able to disable his/her account. and that would we wonderful.
