Stunning composition, and I don't mind the "crumpled" backdrop--it just adds texture to the piece. Very clear, simple, and wonderful!

Beautiful capture, it's so pristine, clean and I love the monochrome effect I also love anythign to do with moving water... this is gorgeous. The dark tones make it so turbulent-feeling

I like this combination of movement of the water and the steadiness of the glass. It tells of power behind the simplicity.

very nice work indeed I think this shot shows a lot of creativity and thought. you've also managed to execute the whole idea very wonderfully. I'm really loving the tonal range in this. it's really nice how the background is much lighter around half off the glass - it really makes it stand out quite well. the reflection is pretty awesome as well. I think without it, it wouldn't have the same impact as it does now. of course, the really cool part about this is how the water looks like a tornado in the glass. I love how it almost seems like it's touching the bottom. very nice clarity and details in this.
really, it's just a very well done photo, nice and creative and shows your skills as a photographer. and I have to disagree with *highoninhalers about the border. your borders and type are just perfect and professional. keep it up

I agree 100% with Nyssi here. She's covered everything so it makes it much easier for me. Great tonal range and depth. The swirl is quite fascinating. Heh, it's a funny image picturing you swirling it and then quickly managing your camera while it's still well, swirling. Keep sprucing it up

Haha you have no idea, you should have seen me trying to pull that off
One hand over the glass with the other hand stretched for the shutter on the camera, must've looked rather silly.

Ahhh this is great. I love this. Such a beautiful, simple look to it. But not too simple, if you get me? The black and white of this is just fabulous. It really brings out the tonal qualities in the shot, especially in the background and various areas of the glass. While I've seen a lot of this type of photography, I can't say I've ever seen one in black and white, with as much detail and tonal ranges. This one holds a very unique character.
Wow, amazed really. Great clarity, focus and composition in this. Excellent work, Daniel
