very impressive. awesome craft design and the whole scene manages to tell a story.
I'd be interested to see a larger render too

cinema 4d and photoshop. all shaders are done with c4d's own - it needs no plugins to be beautiful.

i agree completely with that but how did u make all of the framework on that structure? i mean.. there has got to be a quick way, right?

yeh sure. make a box then use the Atom object to make it "wireframe". i'm sure other 3d apps have a similar thing. the real detail is in the transparent textures.

Awesomazing! Oh man, I don't want to know how long it took to draw all those splines! Or are those alpha maps? This must have about 5 million polygons!
Great stuff!

More space ship awesomeness! Excellent!
Seriously, I wish I had an intelligent comment to add to this thing, but such is life. Well done.

Hmmm... I would say not really Star Trek... more like... Angels Fall First. Not sure where I got that name though.

To be fair, this looks much more like the kind of ad hoc tech of Star Wars than the cleanliness of Star Trek. Who cares however... this is just amazing without comparison to existing works. Good things come from strange matter!
