This certainly isn't a full tutorial, but I suppose rather a condensed version of my Avatar Pixel Tutorial . While I was pixelling the cupcake outline last night, I thought about how when I wasn't as good at pixelling as I am now, I was always disheartened when I saw my ugly sketches, and how could I EVER turn it into a pretty pixel outline?

So I wanted to give people hope. ^^ And also show them what my animation frames look like. (An actual animation tutorial will come later, I promise.)

The final product:

By the way, GIMP is a completely free program, and I personally use it for everything! You can learn more about GIMP and download it for free here .

What Program do we use?

I just use MS Paint for the pixelling. But if you have the new, weird-looking version... I've never tried another program, but I know that you could download GIMP (free) and use the pencil tool with the size set to 0.1.

To make it transparent, I use Irfanview, and I use UnFREEz to actually animate the frames (it's a really simple program, but usually gets the job done).

All the programs are free. ^^

I didn't have the patience before, either. I wonder what happened. XD
