Description
It's been in there about 10 months now, and it's still not overgrown the bulb. Slow grower maybe?Edit: it's gone. To those curious; I removed the black glass insulator on the bottom allowing it to be watered and plants put in. Grab a light globe and have a look if you want to see

Loved the idea, so I took a little time to edit the picture. saturated the plants a bit more, corrected the white balance and removed the reflection on the bulb. Felt that it help portray your idea a little better. Feel free to use the picture (see link below).

Thank Yeah pretty much, transplanted them all in there. The moss wasn't happy for some reason but the ferns loved it in there

The black glass at the end is just twisted off with pliers, only takes a few minutes. Just make sure you wear gloves or wrap it in a towel etc aye.

this is not the solution
it is accomadation
it is like this
we have pushed one housand ppl in to that tiny bulp
and now trying to find ways to accomadate more ppl
yeah the solution is reduction but not in the energy but in the population

Practical, but the ethics of that boggle my mind. China seems to have a good system going though...but i should probably know more about it before I comment.

Might I ask how you got the wire on there to hold it up? I have a basement bedroom and I think a few of these would make it seem more like I'm a part of the above-ground world. Plus, it's beautiful.

Just very carefully...I didn't actually take the metal part off, there's just a hole in the bottom. Or top? *shrug*
