Description
It's been in there about 10 months now, and it's still not overgrown the bulb. Slow grower maybe?Edit: it's gone. To those curious; I removed the black glass insulator on the bottom allowing it to be watered and plants put in. Grab a light globe and have a look if you want to see

this is really cool, how did you go about getting the plant in the bulb?

Thanks!
It's pushed in through the top, or...base of the globe. There's about a 1.5cm hole for air and water and stuff

Yeah they're still growing, but i think they may almost be getting too big.
Not bad though, they lasted about a year.

That's.... amazing XD what type of plants did you use? because the moss-like plants at the bottom are adorable, and im sure some plants won't stand up to those sort of environments :/

heh i have no idea what type of plants they are, i found them in the garden There's a baby fern and moss/curly things off my bonsai. I've only ever made them with those plants so don't know how other plants would survive
Thanks

That's awesome. When I saw the thumbnail I thought is was a 3D piece or some PhotoShop composition.
But the fact it's real makes it even better. I love this. I want one myself.

Yeah...I attempted to try and somehow get the little metal part off in a way that wouldn't break the glass and it didn't work. Ugh.

Shit, you okay? I hope you didn't cut yourself! That glass gets everywhere aye.
I held mine in a towel, and twisted off the metal nipple bit with pliers then did the same with the black glass. Pretty easy from there, just have to clean up the sharp bits inside with a screwdriver.
Hope you're okay
