Another beauty.Ok, so I came home from school today, had a nice hot lemon and honey drink ( I have a cold, it sucks
), pulled up my tablet and started painting this 
Isn't that great, I can't believe I took such a long break from this art business ;-P!!Anyway, I really love the way this piece turned out. I played around with some textured overlays, which really gives the nebula less of a painted look. And makes it look, well, textured
I like.Interpret the name as you will
Enjoy <3Edit: I decided I didn't like the texture overlay, so I removed it and ended up adding a bit more detail to the piece as well. Plain painted style > texture overlays of rock or bark or whatever it was.

This is absolutely gorgeous. I honestly don't think I've ever seen a painting quite like this. I love the splattered ink edges and the vivid striking colors. I've seen a lot of other worlds in paintings but this has got to be one of the most spectacular. Brilliant work and congrats on the DD.

If you have even the most basic knowledge of graphic design and digital art software you should be able to figure out how he did it easily. I'll give you a hint...layer blend modes...and dodge/burn...*LOTS* of dodge/burn. LOL, it's the key to "shiny art". It's a well known fact that on DA your presumed ability as a graphic designer is directly proportional to how shiny your "art" is. But then again the average DA user is 12, so go figure on that one. *nods*
