I'll begin by saying that I absolutely love your artwork. It's always amazingly detailed, and realistic with that little fantasy touch, which is amazing!
The main thing that I dislike here is the blinding white spot up there. Half of this extraordinarily detailed piece is almost pure white, and the snow near the upper right corner looks a bit hastily added. While it adds contrast, when looking between the shaded, calm, beautiful valley, there's a bright sheet of surprise. Next time, I'd suggest toning down the brightness slightly or adding something to keep the detailed theme.
The lower areas of this piece bring a sense of safety, and reassurance, as those two calmly have their picnic. It's very soothing, with the calmly flowing water, and smooth atmosphere. While the tall pieces of grass look a little scratchy, they add depth, and I quite like how it all blended together.
It's very nice how the wolf creatures are so calm as well, as wolves are usually shown as snarling beasts that have some feral instinct. Those two are calmly sitting by the stream, and I love how the wolves just blend slightly into the scenery as if they were meant to be there. While the shadows around the wolves and the people look a little splotchy, it's barely noticeable and still adds the depth that we need.
The hills and mountains give a feeling of being closed-in, which can be either good or bad, depending on the look you were going for. They hold a lot of detail, and give the otherwise flat background a great deal of texture, which is absolutely perfect.
I love how realistic the people are for your picnic, and they bring even more emotion to this image. Looking at their expressions, and the wolves', I can't tell what the set emotion here is. The animals look quite content and merry, but the people in this piece don't look as cheerful. They're just looking at the ground, why are they sad? There's absolutely nothing wrong with it, in fact it intrigues me.
TL;DR The white space near the top lacks detail and has a bit too much contrast, but the rest of the piece is like candy to my eyes. Please keep up the amazing work, I love your art.

Please correct me if I'm way off, but did you put some easter eggs in this painting? Maybe it's my mind playing tricks on me. I found at least two dragons "hidden" in this picture. One right behind and aligned with the lighter dragon. It is delineated on top-left by the stream, with the lower part of its head underwater. The other one is to the left of the first trace of the stream. It is white (the snow on the side of the mountain). It looks like a Japanese-style dragon in flight.
Am I seeing things, or did you put it in there, or...? I'm dying to know. Help! : )
P.S. I made it a background on my laptop and see it very day. That's how my mind finally registered it.

I really like this piece! I feel a kind of faint feeling of solitude looking at it, but the good kind of solitude. It's really great!
May I ask you what kind of brush you used? Did you create them?
