I dunno, I'm really diggin this new coloring style and it takes a lot more time but I think it's better. The difference is mostly with the lines too cause instead going over the sketch with thick black lines, I'm now doing them so thin that (hopefully) they're not really visible. XD
I'm still practicing so I'm sorry that it's not perfect but I'm working on it~
I also felt like I didn't have enough art of Clement and Adelais so I decided to fix that with this little thing~ Adelais is also super cute when she's blushing 
Also, I don't know where the dialog came from but it's just what came to my mind when I was drawing this cause it's something I could totally see Clement doing. And come on, you guys could see this too, couldn't you?
I'm struggling with the next page but hopefully I'll have it out within the next year
I'd love to know what you guys think of this cause it's a kinda different style so I'd really like to hear your thoughts~

I like the new coloring style~! It feels like realisim mixed with Anime~ Its a nice touch overall~^^
Key word for the love birds is cute and adorable~. Though I'm a bit on Adelais side... Smelling the hair is a "TAD" wired for me lolXD

I'm happy to see another coloured artwork. And I'm even more happier that it's a Clement and Adelais picture! ^w^ They are just so adorable together. Especially here with Adelais blushing.
The new style is pretty nice. It makes the picture look softer and in some places brings more attention to the colours. Though I think it is probably hard to have the colours not getting over the linework considering that the lines are so thin. Also watch out in the future that the lines are still visible enough in the right areas so it doesn't get confusing. That hasn't happened so far but I can imagine that it could easily do.
About the time and effort problem. I surely see that it is time consuming to make the lines extra thin. I'm thinking about if you could use the wonder of technology (yeah, sorry) to make things easier. Though I can't really tell for sure if any of the things I'm thinking about would work. I'd had to try it out myself.
And don't worry about the next page.^^ Sometimes it's better to take that extra time to make the products extra good.

I'm glad for that cause a lot of people tend to compliment me on my coloring so it's good that this style brings attention to it.
And I always put the line work on a separate layer so when I put the colors below the linework layer, it doesn't cover it up but it's really tricky to get the right layers in the correct places so they don't screw any other colors up. So I will try to be mindful of that in the future.

It actually takes me less time to do the line work believe it or not cause I don't have to select inside the lines to color. What I would do before was close off the lines so when I used the selection tool, it would only select certain areas but now I can't select the areas otherwise the tool will just select the entire canvas. If that makes any sens at all XD
What takes the most time is coloring inside the lines all by hand and no selection tool to select large areas I could color at once.
Yeah that's true. I'm just having a hell of a time figuring out how to make a good walking scene...But what else it new? Lol

I understand that, don't worry. Though Sai is a very good software when it comes to selecting in my opinion (you use sai too, right?). That's why I hate doing the screen tones in MS, because it doesn't have the same selection tool.
Colouring everything yourself by hand sounds like it would frustrate me a lot. That would give me colors3D flashbacks (colors doesn't have any tools like selection and that was always so annoying to me). XD
Ah, walking scenes can be difficult, right? Remember the first scene in the 2nd chapter of 'Westwind', which only had Yaro and Kaede walking through the forest. I remember that being frustrating sometimes. I actually even practiced a few poses on paper before drawing the pages. >.<
But I'm sure you can go through this.
