Description
So I decided to do a crossover because they are my absolute favorite things to do by far and I decided to draw my character William from 'Inheritance' and Corin from a story my dear friend is working on.
Also the title is kinda weird but I wasn't sure what else to call it...But I feel like both these guys are the causes for a lot of bad things that end up happening in their respective stories whether they mean it or not. Like they're targets. Kinda...It makes sense in my head I swear.
Anyways, we were both talking and we felt that William and Corin would get along fairly well if they ever met and would probably end up as pretty close friends cause they are pretty similar and both are fighting very difficult battles.
But they are different because Corin IS nobility while William is just descended from nobility through Nicolette of course.
I think I kinda ended up making them both look like villains for some reason...Especially William and I don't know why. Must be the lighting which I am very proud of by the way
I also ended up changing William's necklace and it doesn't look so clunky anymore.
Also, I wanted to really make their eyes stand out and I hope I was able to do that. I just have a thing for making eyes shine in the darkness XD
But this was a lot of fun to work on and I really enjoyed it!

Well the shiny pretty boi on the right is Willam and he's from Inheritance which is the sequel for Black Rose~
He's also Nicolette's son :3
And Corin is on the left and belongs to my friend and he's a character from a comic she's got in the works right now ^_^

They look good back to back but, I do admit the vibe portrays them off as kinda evilXD Regardless it looks amazing~! The contrast of gold and green with blues and whites is just lovely~!Β

Goodness, I felt a little bitΒ queasy when you said that you were done with this. That's how excited I was to get a look at it.
I love seeing our boys in one picture. The two panels are a cool idea. It looks like a scene where the two meet for the first time: William is sitting somewhere and Corin comes by and kinda looks down on William. And William looks up, totally serious, like he's trying to say "You got a problem with me?". Lol. That probably wasn't the intention. XD But I do like, that one is looking down, while the other is looking up.
I think them looking a bit like villains isn't even a bad thing. I think it suits them. They may not be evil, but they both have their secrets and they both probably had some kind of contact with something dark. o-o
And I just noticed, that their colour schemes are contradicting. Corin has gold and green and William has blue and black. Gives the drawing a bit of a "fire and ice" kinda vibe.

Well this time it was almost uncomfortable. XD
They both are polite, though I think Corin might be less than William. He can be harsh, 'cause of the way he was raised. He is his father's successor after all.

He already has a profile, if I'm not wrong. I have a questions though, is William/his family wealthy. I know that they aren't nobility, but that doesn't necessary mean that they're poor.

It's kinda like when someone hugs you too hard cause they're so happy to see you. You're happy but...It still hurts
Ohhh yeah, I almost forgot about that little detail. I mean, I'm sure he doesn't intentionally mean to hurt people but it kinda just ends up happening anyways. ;_;
And his dad isn't exactly a warm and fuzzy person so it only makes sense that would rub off on Corin.
Or maybe he just dropped his lucky coin Corin! Ever think about that?! Huh, huh? Lol

They are fairly wealthy because their father owns a small farm that does very well and they breed horses for work and sport too. But Nicolette was also able to bring some of her family's wealth as well.

Corin is rather...austere. It's not that he has a temper, but he takes rules andΒ principles very serious.
Exactly, also a soft and shy person isn't really considered a good count, at least in that time period. They had to be strict.
I'm sure he didn't think of that. He'd probably be like "Whatever it is, get up already!" XD

Still, it fits his character and story and even his design to an extent. I really like his personality and he's got a lot of room for development too~
Yeah...Poor Corin is probably hiding his real personality underneath all that strictness and who he NEEDS to be as opposed to who he really is. At least that's how I interpret it...Lol

Hm, how would Corin see a person like William anyways? William is descended from nobility but neither of them know that. Would he just see William as a common villager and treat him as such? I'm curious!

No, Corin isn't really in for jokes, except when it comes to the people close to him, which are his best friend from town and a doctor.

Well that's good at least! I can't see Corin being mean to someone on purpose unless they're mean to him first. Even then, I could see him doing it in a more subtle way as opposed to insulting them outright

There's a lot of stuff, he doesn't want to admit, but that's something we learn much later in the story...
Definitely in a more subtle. Corin isn't someone who yells around a lot.
