Oh boy, here comes Simon! Simon has really grown on me as I've designed him; I partially blame it on how I chose Mamoru Miyano as his seiyuu, though. And yes, I know Miyano voices Dento/Cilan but Simon would be the deeper end of his spectrum instead of his "goofy" self. If anything though, if Simon meets Dento one day Ash and Akamu would laugh about how they sound similar when Simon is excited about something.

Adding onto that, Simon is the most serious member of the group but also the most turbulent. You'd think it would be Akamu, but Simon's emotions get the better of him more often. He's a passionate person and he gets excited easily (cue Miyano's Dento range) about pokemon he deems "beautiful", which are usually the pokemon on his team.

Simon grew up in Sinnoh; out of the four boys, he was the second to move to Pallet Town. His heritage gets the best of him since he's always dressed for winter like how Akamu is always dressed for summer; both of them are almost constantly cold/hot respectively. Simon may be more serious than Akamu, but both have emotional personalities so they clash often. The two other boys keep them in check, though. He also has abandonment issues, so he's the one who is affected the most when everyone eventually parts ways even though he'll pretend like it's fine years later. :') I'M SO IN LOVE WITH THIS EMO DUMMY

ANYWAY lol also worth mentioning that Simon wants to be a coordinator when he grows up! And eventually he becomes a celebrity like Akamu, but in the contest field! He travels to spectate contests that interest him, and loves visiting Sinnoh in particular. He lives with his father as a child and has a pet Glameow. She's his precious angel and true weakness.
