Description
Okay am learning my new tablet. This one is a commission for someone on a game I play. I have several reference pictures - not just one so some of this picture is made up or extrapolated.Finished I think - waiting to hear back from the commisioner.

I admit, I don't care for digital art in most cases. I feel like it's an easy out for people who don't want to take the time to develop a sensitivity for color, shadow, contrast, composition etc because they can do those things with a click of the mouse. Then I see your work where you have those things and so much more. All you're horses glow with this ethereal light. You take this media and bend it to your will, rather than use it as a band aid. You make this media work for you and create such amazing, vibrant art. I am always excited when your name pops up on my watch.

Wow. Thanks so much for you kind and thoughtful comments.
Actually I don't think I even know how to use the features that create all that stuff with the click of a button lol - I am hopeless at that type of stuff.
I find brushes and special features make a uniform texture - when in reality texture varies so much over anything if you don't want it looking computer generated you have to do it manually. That and I learned to draw and paint traditionally and I am stubborn.
