Description My goal tonight was to create an expressive portrait of some kind. I wasn't sure what I was going for, but I thought I'd just start shooting and see what came out. Anyway, I eventually stumbled upon the idea for an X-Men/Superhero type shot. I hope you like it.

so I'll write it again . I love the body contours in this one, which is beautifully highlighted with the lighting you've used, love the backlight and then the mirror or small focus lighting you've used to emphasise your eyes. I love the different holds a body can do and love love love the tight focus crop you've used in this layout. I especially love slim long portrait layouts like this, they hide and yet reveal so much

Very interesting body contours especially hightlighted with the lighting behind and then a mirror or small focus light to emphasis the eyes .. very cool effect. Love the tight focus crop onto you .. I happen to love long slim portrait layouts like this .. it hides and yet reveals so much at the same time.

your self portraits are kicking major ass, but where are the fake wings?

i really like how you set up the environment for this, it just suits the theme set up by the pose, very nice work, as usual
