I was asked to do a portrait of five people representing five generations of a family. This seemed like it would be fun, and I scheduled the shoot. After shooting, I asked if I could just take some photos with the extreme ends of the family: the newborn baby Elijah (3 weeks old) and his great great grandmother Jean. They had a wonderful rapport together and I hope I was able to capture it.Tech:
Softbox on boom arm above and behind, facing towards the camera. Softbox at eye level, slightly to the right providing fill light for the front.

wow if they aren't happy with this picture, they would have to be zombies. The little fella's hand reaching out to touch great great grandma is just so beautiful
the lighting is awesome, bright but not harsh and picking up all the details in grandma's jewellery and the colours in bubba's bright outfit

generations are pressious moments that families treasure forever.
My family on my dad's side had 5 generations but that's down to 4 now since my Great Grandma passed away due to a stroke just this wednesday (22nd).
I'm sure this family will be thrilled with your work.

I really don't know how to react since I didn't have a personal relationship with her. In a way I kind of regret it but now that my grandparents are living with us, it makes me more glad that I sit down and watch tv with them and have that small talk conversations.
