I took this photo as a commercial shot for my company's website, but also submitted it to the 4x6 Shadows release. I was trying to imply a burst of speed and power, while leaving room for advertising copy. You can see the final commercial result here . Hope you like it!Related content

Great composition. I agree, the pins make it even more effective. And the background/carpet certainly creates a contrast. Is this a processor???

I think the pin shadows do a good job of conveying motion, at least to me. I als think the blues and golds work well together.

I like the contrast between the metal sheen and the rough, almost stubbly texture of the blue. The lighting is excellent as well. Nicely done.
