to me the background color and how the light plays off it is very relaxing. i like the texture you've captrued on the light fixture, but i would have liked to see the bottom on the light actually.

i really dig the composition of this. the background colour works wonderful, bringing out the simplicity of the lamp and its shape!

Great framing. Spot-on composition, and I like the colours too. The quality of the image seems a little off though, like it's been slightly over-sharpened or something. The gold background looks a bit blotchy, and some of the shapes seem to have a bit of an halo around them. Maybe it's just me. I still really like this anyway. Excellent work.
