it looks like an atom bomb is going off in the bottom of the martini glass. i like the indistinct background with the pink and lilac colors.

It's an almost perfect shot, except there's something about the light coming through the bottom of the glass that just doesn't look right to me. Maybe it's just me.
Otherwise, I love the framing of this shot, and the blurred background.

the form of the glass is really nice, plus the transparency of it and the colors in the background... cool stuff. bars have this kind of posters on the walls don't the. or maybe this could be used in an add ?

wow what a vivid colors. love your composition and the lighting. totally create a wonderful contrast especially the subject and the backdrop. also the little bubble (ice maybe eh?) create a very nice tiny texture.

Love the background colo(u)ation and DOF on this. That said, the glass of martini (shaken, not stirred I presume?) seem a bit lacking in something. It might just be that it needs a bit more 'accent' lighting or perhaps even an olive as *scab-lab suggested, but it just feels un-balanced if you know what I mean. (Although not in terms of the rule of thirds or anything - it's technically spot-on.)

Great perspective and I love the muted colors of the background, really makes that sharp martini glass stand out. Only thing I would like to see is a little more light in the glass and maybe the olive. Hot stuff !
