Edit: Holy shitkabobs on a dinner table! I can't believe the support and love I've been recieving for this comic! I wasn't expecting it and it's had me on a big fluffy cloud for a couple of days now! Thank you all so much!

I have spent too much time on this...
This was a result of a need to get the Mass Effect ending from my system. Funny thing is it took so long to make, I was pretty much over it half-way through XD Even funnier is I just cried a little right now
One of the jillion things that bothered me about this ending was that the characters most dear to me didn't even seem to be on Lara Shepard's mind. As explosions were going off, images of Joker, Anderson and... Liara? seem to flash before her eyes. I was kind of outraged. I absolutely love Joker and Anderson, but... Liara? She's great and all, but... No chance of Garrus's face to pop in her mind instead? They ARE in a relationship after all! HE VENTURED INTO THE IDEA OF HAVING KIDS, FOR F**K'S SAKE!
It's funny that everything else about that ending would pretty much make sense if we have in mind the popular Indoctrination Theory (which I'm all on board with), but this... this, haha, really bothered me
Somehow it's like Liara's friendship is forced down my throat a lot of times. No ofense to Liara fans, she's actually a great character, just not one I'm specially fond of. And I really just wanted to see Tali, and Garrus... and Mordin... and Legion and Wrex... one last time... *tear flood* So all this just added to the feeling that the ending could've been rushed and put together as quickly as possible.Hence this.

This is by far, the BEST ME3 comic I have read. It brought strong emotions and brought me to tears. (The music added the effect, so I cried ten times harder XD) But, I absolutely love this. Now if you excuse me, I will go cry in a corner somewhere.

The look on her face, dang if that is not why I always saw Femshep as 10x more cannon. I love maleshep, he is cannon and all, but Femshep has a (dare I say) better voice actor, she is strong, but you hear the emotion there to you can tell everything that hits her is another hard blow. Congrats you made me weep!

Well I... couldn't actually agree more XD Maleshep is "more canon" cuz... I guess they needed a face for the cover...? And of course Male Hero is standard videogame protagonist too... But here it's no wonder Femshep won over the hearts of so many. The voice surely helps a lot, but there is also something about Shepard being a woman that makes it special, different. I just find the character gains a lot more depth, somehow.

I just saw this on Tumblr.
And the girl who posted it linked it back to you so I came here and read it again as I looked through your art. I haven't been hit by Mass Effect feels this powerful in a while. My eyes are watering and everything, especially as a Shakarian lover.
I will never, ever be able to pick the Destroy ending without this image coming to mind; everyone coming together mentally in the end to help Shepard push through and do what she needed to do.
This is beautiful.
There is no Shepard without Vakarian,
and there is no Normandy crew without Shepard.

I was browsing through my favourites and came across this AGAIN. And again, the feels man. Her face in that third panel absolutely wrecks me every time I see it. And now I want to replay the entire series again. Even though the ending infuriated me, the story leading up to it was so good - and leaving behind everyone was so hard.. and you captured that perfectly.
I'd honestly like to see someone recreate this with G-Mod or whatnot (with your permission, of course). I think a gorgeous cutscene would have everyone and their mother bawling as well. Nothing will be as heartwrenchingly beautiful as this though.

I don't think I've ever grown more attached to a group of characters in a game or series before. Or at least as many to top it off. Whenever the death of someone I'd been attached to (read: everyone but Miranda and Jacob lol) died, I'd just be like "Welp, time to walk away from the computer for a while" because I just couldn't handle it. And then I'd just look at my roommate and boyfriend and be all "Soandso DIED! ;___;" like a dear friend had passed.
Balrgasgh just responding makes me look at the comic and then get all emobutts again. This is just so well done. Bioware should mail you cupcakes.
As for G-mod, good luck if anyone actually picks that up, I can't make that thing work properly for the life of me. lol. But how amazing would that be? Agrgah WANT.

I know I haven't. I love these guys like they're my real friends. fff. Tali died in my first try at ME3 and it took me so long to fall asleep that night. i was overcome with FEEEELLSSSS. I felt so awful.

I have a playthrough called Derpface Shepard where he just messes everything up - when Tali died I was like "HOW COULD I DO THAT D:" and was upset all day. I felt like I had betrayed an old friend.
