I think I've looked at this too long and the colors make my eyes hurt. So I need opinions: there are 2 effect layers over this piece and I can't tell if they just detract or add to it. One is a colored texture with the Soft Light mode over top and with an opacity of like 45%. The other is a watercolor-ish filter just in the distant background. Should I just take them off or leave it as is?Anyway, Little Lottie's enjoying her first debut in the show arena at the Nordanner Birthday Event! I hope to quickly put out her halter entry and then enter 1 more horse in the competition.
If anyone is interested in leasing one of my Nordanners in the competition, send me a note and we could possibly work something out. But only if you are 100% sure you would do an entry.

I keep your drawings in my inbox forever because I mean to say something about them, but never seem to have the time to do it! Apologies for my spectacularly tardy comments!
It looks nice as is. You do have a distractingly dark, hard edge at the peak of that post just above her back. There are also areas of her body, like under her neck, the back of her left leg, etc. where you've made the outlines darker. I can't see a rhyme or reason for it so it does come off as a little distracting.
The movement is pretty lovely and she has a rather eye-pleasing arrangement of spots. Good luck in the show!

She's so pretty! I like the background, the effect there is nice. The shading and highlighting is amazing, especially the back hill, and the sunlight filtering through the clouds looks so awesome!

There is only one tiny detail that bugs me though. On the top of the middle post (above her back) the outline is much darker and stands out. But I'm probably just being too nit picky now . :/
