This wasn't showing up right in my gallery so I just reuploaded it.

I love this pictures and now that the show results are posted I'm going to move it to my gallery. :devsagesinridle: was doing a picture of a parade of nations as an opener for the show. Here's my part! I looove her dress.

I adore this picture so far, I'll be putting my own background to it later and posting it in my gallery, but for now it has to stay here.

A little explination about her outfit. I didn't want to just do the tradtitional dressage outfit so I started thinking what's unique about American history and what their clothing was link. A western outfit would not have fitted Fine China in her dressage get up so I took it back to the Civil War era. Savannah here is wearing a common 19th Century ladies riding outfit and she is indeed riding side saddle! But I think her legs are on the wrong side but I wanted them on the same side as the flag so it'll just have to be technically incorrect.

And the yellow ribbons are in honor of our troops who are still deployed, my cousin being one of them in Afghanistan. They recently had 4 deaths in his Unit including his Staff Sargent. So just showing a little love for our soldiers. My husband was also in the Air Force and was deployed to Iraq. Anyway, no bashing America comments please!
