Ashfall is now happily retired

This is a revisit of my stallion Ashfalls reference. He always had just a base color ref without shading because I always thought I would never get into showing Vanners; that I'd just have a few because they are pretty. Well, now I adore them and thought it was high time this boys reference was updated. Although it's the same pose and coloring as the old reference, I just loved the pose, it's been shaded, if not quickly shaded. Sorry for that. But I love this boy to death! And now his reference matches my other feathered stallions in the stallion barn. I need to work on the mares soon.

Personality: Flamboyant! This guy does nothing but trot around in the pasture flipping his long curly mane around. We can't believe he looks this stocky seeing how active he is! He's deffinatly a looker for the ladies and he knows it! He can be hard to handle for a Gypsy Vanner; they are suposed to be friendly and easy to hanle but he's just so lively that he makes things difficult. Hank tries to work him and he just acts scatter brained and flighty when the wind blows. Hopefully we can work with him to get some of the kinks out and calm him down a bit.

History/Backstory: Leah's best friend from college, Heather, is studying for her master's degree in England. She's also apart of an equestrian program at Talland School of Equitation. Heather heard of a group of breeders who were trying to promote the Irish Cob horse, also known as a Gypsy Vanner and she agreed to take one in. However, she quickly realized she did not have the time or money to currently own a horse so that's when she contacted Leah at Shekinah Valley. Heather wants to import Ashfall to the United States and to sVa where he can live with Leah until Heather can move back into the states in a few years. Though she will greatly miss the joy rides she had with him when she wasn't working, Heather knows she is making the right decision and that she'll see him again soon in his new home in Wyoming.
