Es ist den schwarzen Völkern ja zu Eigen, sich zu versklaven. Meines Wissens schon lange, bevor die Kolonien der Europäer dort errichtet wurden.
Ein wunderbares Bild, mir gefällt vorallem der Stil des Objekts.
Eine Frage: Steht eine Idee hinter dem weißen Stern, oder ist er nur aus Gestaltungstechnischen Gründen vorhanden?

Der Stern ist ein vielschichtiges Symbol für mich. Nicht politisch, wenn du das meinst.

Ich bin sicher keiner, der versucht eine Art Diskriminantenformel auf Menschen loszulassen.
Freud hat mal was Nettes gesagt, ungefähr: "Es wird immer eine Herrenrasse und eine Sklavenrasse geben. Sie differenzieren sich jedoch nur durch Geschick, Macht(Geld) und Intelligenz."
Damit muss man ihm Recht geben.

Very good, well thought out composition. I can see what she says about having the text more blended into the background, but i think that is more from an artistic point of view. As far as creating a logo, and what you are trying to convey, i think you did it right. It would have a different meaning for me if you did it the other way and wouldn't look so much like a logo. Sorry i haven't been around much but good to see you still kickin around and participating in everything.

After two milleniums of civilisation and mankind still resorts to slavery. Slavery is never the completion of tasks, slaves are a blast of helium to an inflated ego, to the greed of the rich man it is but a sign of their deluded superiority. Ever heard of those "logos" they brand onto some? It makes me shiver.
As for the piece, the piece is beautiful, it is simple and effective, there is nothing flashy here. The only thing you have used to get across you message is your artistic skill, which is obvious in this piece. The composition is perfect and the combinations of dark earthy colours and textures with a blinding white is amazing. I do think there needs to be something to further emphasise the "Slavery" sign though. It's gotta be a fav.

Well done. I like the look of hope in his eyes and the subtle bit of dignity, too.
My one suggestion...if it's possible, would be to make the slavery text look like it's burned into the background. Sort of make it look like a branding. I think that would give the "logo" a stronger impact of sorts.

Sometimes slave-owners resorted to mutilating and branding their slaves. There are more such trademarks, mankind shall be ashamed of. You've pointed one of those most important, based on irrational conclusions and greediness.
Meaningful and wonderfully designed work. I would like to talk to you about that texture.
