Been doing the 30 Day Monster Girl Challenge over on tumblr to force myself to draw stuff that isn't work related. It had seriously been months and that would not do.Anyway, this is the drawing I did for the 12th prompt (Zombie Girl) and the most satisfied and happy I've been with any of my entries so far. Follow my #monstergirls tag on tumblr if you want to see the rest, I'll only be posting the ones I especially like here. I'm enjoying this challenge, it's making me stretch some design muscles and some characters have come out of this that I totally want to draw again!

Very creepy... O.O Though I really can't stand looking at creepy-ish stuff, this looks very good. Reminds me of the Spitter ([link] ) from Left 4 Dead 2.

Interesting how the serene pastel
colour palette clashes with the
subject matter. Normally garish
splashes of red and black would
be used for something like this.

I was trying to do something interesting and different with the colour scheme since I tend to be too literal with my colour choices and I'm trying to push myself to try palettes that I wouldn't normally think to use. I'm really enjoying how that has been turning out!

Even though this girl has seen better days I think she's lovely! Your style is definitely getting stronger, love the colours that you've used too, simple but effective

I watched Zombieland for the first time a few nights ago, they've got some 'tasty' references in there for improving zombie 'anatomy' xD
