Heh, I seem to have undertaken the drawing of all the stallions of the SB series with their lead mares xD I just love 'pairings', don't you?
Anyhoo, this is Thowra's son by Golden, Lightning, with his first mare, Goonda. I love the relationship these two have. I think Goonda's the only one who actually doesn't mind Lightning's rash, sometimes arrogant ways, and even though Lightning was always trying to go after the silver and white mares for his herd, Goonda was still obviously very special to him - that much was clear when he attacked the black stallion that was trying to steal her

I never really liked Lightning (and was forever holding out hope he'd turn out better), but the bit in SBK where he fights the black stallion for Goonda was always really touching.

Very pretty! I love how you clearly define which is the stallion and which is the mare, without having to know their colors originally. And Goonda has a very interesting color pattern - is she a red roan? (Haven't gotten a hold of the books yet.

lol! yeah, mouse drawing is really hard for some reason 0__-; sometimes i wonder why the dont just make computers with tablets instead of mouses....
any ways, X3 im sure anything you can draw with a mouse would still be brilliant

Haha, most people use their comps for non-drawing related stuff I guess so they don't really need tablets. Although my brother used to use his tablet to play Counterstrike and games of that nature - he said it was very useful xD
