Note, though, that Merah and Harimau are Sumatran tigers, as opposed to the previous three who are Bengals (hence the Berhasa names instead of Indian ones).. which means that Merah and Hari are smaller and have more dense stripes and longer cheekfluffs. Except for Sita, who's a runt by her breed's standards, and the same size as the Sumatrans. (see, I did my homework

Aigh. I guess they are a school, not an environmental group, so I guess I can understand where they're coming from in a way. But they should have given you props for caring about an endangered species.

I love Merah's face, and Harimau's pose is incredible. I love how the body looks long and curvy, exactly like tigers' and big cats in generals' bodies are supposed to look. The skin actually looks like it's hanging off of bones and muscle in the way you've drawn his back and legs, which is something few people I've seen can do. Two thumbs up, even for simple sketches like this.
Also, if you don't mind me asking - I've been wondering how to color beneath scanned lineart. Is it similar to coloring beneath CG lineart or is the process different? If you could point me in the direction of learning such a technique, I'd be forever grateful. Thank you so much in advance.

Thanks for the link! Yes, her work is VERY impressive. I took a glance through her gallery and thought, "Her coloring style looks familiar." And it turns out that she was the colorist for The Katurran Odyssey, and book with *incredible* illustrations that I own. How ironic.
