She's been such a sweetie to me and she's been going through a few hard times as of late it seems. So I suppose this picture is in a way supposed to portray hope for brighter days, as represented by the moon. It might not be full now, but it's only a matter of time before it will be again

I don't know why but before I even read the artists comments the picture made me think of HOPE!
It is amazing how you can portay such an amazing message in one simple piece of artwork.
The whole mood of the picture is just... breath-taking.

Just found your gallery (recent host fan, LOVE the host dog-majiggers) and i just wanted to note that this picture looked awfully dark on my screen. every other picture was fine. so i dunno...is anyone else having that problem? anyway, awesome art!

-shrugs- I have no idea o.O some people do mention the dark-ness in some pictures but that's mainly when I draw black characters (I have issues with contrast =.o). Could it have something to do with the blue colour? I overlay all my nightscenes with a transparent layer of blue or purple like a wash. check out one of the others, maybe that will tell..

OH haha. well, I don't think it's weird! I did a figure drawing in class the other day and the right hand was the only thing I liked about the whole thing x3 (so of course I had to label it with a circle and a heart and an arrow. xDD)
