Just some digital drawings showing how the anatomical structure of my pegasi (or Arithi as they are called in my fantasy world) differs from how most people draw them.. I tried to make them a bit more.. physically possible, just for fun xDD I know that anything is possible in the realm of the imagination, but horses are pretty solid heavy animals.. and it bugged me that those wings were amazingly strong enough to render them airborne (things like that just bug me. Don't ask me why xD), so I had to design my own pegs, and I'm very happy with them.As you can see they're more streamlined, their legs are longer and thinner, their heads are smaller and their chests are deeper. Also their wings are bigger and their necks more curved. And you can't see it of course but they've got hollow bones like birds too.
Here's a filly and stallion with random colour schemes. I may make them into characters eventually, I quite like them

The filly is gorgeous! X3 Both of their heads are different enough from a horses to tell that they're different, but similar enough to know that they're horses... 
I also like how they're all... thin. XD They still look solid, but the slight dip in their stomach is so cool looking! :'3 Very, very nice! *Claps*

I like the filly colour scheme more. Something about those tones make me believe that he/she is real.
I like the structure of the Stal, he looks awesome. Maybe his darkness is a lil evil for me, but I like the idea of him being the equine equivalent of a Swift...
I do love your smooth lineart and your expressive faces. They are some of the most poinient features of your style. Coupled with the fact that Pegasi are just uber and your ma luff.

And yes, funnily enough, I do believe that was what was my subconscious inspiration, one of those dark birds with the red. The stallion pretty much jumped into my head in his entirety and went DRAW ME so I did. When a character presents itself to you like that you can't really help but comply
And ew, I dislike my digi-inking. The line thickness is weirdness. But ah, I guess if people like it it can't be that bad

Aww bless. I didnt like the sketchy stuffs that I started with, but now, when I try to do something smooth it looks like poo.
I have to drink Pepsi, top up the sugar count else I get grouchy. Oh yeah.

ahh I would take commissions but I have no way of getting paid xDD so it's no biggie.

Oooh! I love the filly - so delicate and softly coloured. ^^ Your ideas seem so much more plausible, I mean horses really are sturdy animals, but these seem perfect for flight!

I love these. x3 Very good. People have the wrong impression of pegusai and unicorns anyhow. Both were a much MUCH smaller form of herdstock than the horse, the unicorn more legant and the pegusus more able-bodied to lift itself from the ground.
