Apparently, every time I RP Dusty with Peaches, something is guaranteed to happen that makes me melt inside and go AWWW for several minutes. And then want to draw a billion pictures of them.

So adorable!! I'm sure you've heard this many times but it is! LoL. I like the media you used to create this picture, and I really love the crisp green-ness of the grass and the BLUE sky -- The simplicity of those really adds to it; It reminds me of the most beautiful summer days~.
A bit off the subject, I've been meaning to ask you something so I might as well now. Is there any way you could link me to all of the whippet characters you've created? I mean I've seen them here and there and have tried to list them off, but I'm still not %100 sure, heh. I just want an idea so I can keep track! ^ ^;

[link] Eventually I made Penny to be the mother of Wings's children. The idea for her actually came several months after I made him, though I didn't actually flesh her out until much later on.

Aww only on Mushroom Grove? You know I have visited that site a couple of times and pondered joining, but it's just I've never been a part of a RP community before, so I would be a total noob. Wouldn't know where to start!

Well considering that Penny and Wings are characters made for Mushroom Grove, then yes it makes sense, doesn't it? You know I have seen many people come on there as COMPLETE newbs (in fact some of those were my doings) and they fit in completely well. Heck, I was a newb when I joined two years ago and now I co-own the site. xDDD
I like to tell people: As long as you enjoy characters and making up stories, RP is no great trouble to get into. In fact I've actually found that the characters I've RPed with others are more well-rounded versus the ones that existed solely in my head because you're forced to think on your feet in a way. Through RP a character gets put in a situation over which you the author do not have complete control, and so you have to really get into the character's thoughts and feelings to figure out how they would react to the other. I feel like my writing and characterization have been strengthened a great deal through the practice RP has given me, particularly dialogue writing which used to be something I shied away from a lot, and always came out sounding awkward and clunky. I'm much less afraid of it now. Really, particularly in the environment MG provides, it's really like two people just writing a story or short piece together!
If you're sort-of-keen-but-intimidated about joining, I advise you to just create an account, and hang out on the place for a bit. Just read some roleplay samples that others have done, and observe for a week or two to see how the place works and to get a feel for it. Hopefully you won't feel so lost then. And we're a friendly bunch, so you can always give us a shout if you need any help finding your way around!

Haha, well when I comment it's because I do have something to say! MG is a great love of mine, in many ways I've seen it grow and mature because I joined almost right from the start and even when I wasn't even a staff member, I followed it when it moved twice and have always been encouraging people to join. I've also gotten closer with quite a number of my dA friends through RPing our characters on there, and as I said it's helped make my characters more real and close to me! It's a place that's very special to me and as such I do tend to glorify it quite a bit! xD
