Here is another pair of Southern Railway siblings taken on by Sir Topham Hatt to help on his railway, Gavin and Tylar. Gavin is the younger of the pair and is comical, lighthearted, and cheerful, whereas Tylar is a stoic, pragmatical, strong-silent type of engine, who simply wants to get on with his work and is more often than not embarrassed by his brother's antics, often going so far as to regret the fact that they were both built in the same works at Brighton.
