Vinyl Scratch and Limestone had a pretty stable relationship, even though they basically live separately because of Vinyl's job and Limestone's stubbornness and not wanting to leave the rock farm. Vinyl stays with Limestone as often as she can, so Synthesizer was raised fairly normally, other than the odd week or two here and there that Vinyl had to travel.

Synthesizer hates the rock farm. Hates it. She'd burn it down if she could (she's tried, Limestone stopped her before it could spread). To her it's dark and dusty and miserable. When she was young, she was fascinated with Vinyl's DJing job and really wanted to travel with her all the time. She got one opportunity and that was when she discovered her special talent. After that, however, Limestone wouldn't let her go with Vinyl anymore, and said that she had to start working on the rock farm for the family. Synth lasted for about a month after that before she ran away from home to pursue her music career. She still talks to Vinyl and on the super rare occasion talks to Limestone, but hasn't stepped foot on the rock farm since.

Synth is confident and super flirty. Some would say that she uses her fame to get ponies to sleep with her. Most would say that, actually. She'd probably even admit it. She'd punch anyone who suggested she slept her way to the top of the music industry though. She's really passionate about her music. She often uses UV Light's talents in her concerts, and often underpays them, but UV is naive and also has a big crush on her.

She often enlists the help of her cousin, Heavenly Muse, when writing her lyrics, although her cousin drives her a little crazy with all her talk about how Synth is "scared of commitment" and needs to "not be so stoic and stop repressing her feelings" and "become more self-aware and empathetic in order to become the best version of herself".

She always has her signature eye makeup on and the cord of her microphone cutie mark is a tattoo, done by Dazzle Dusk. She also has a lip ring and tongue stud (not shown). When questioned if her cutie mark is a broken heart, she always says it's a lightning bolt because her love is "electrifying" (it's a broken heart).
