do you ever instantly fall in love with an oc because I did the second I started drawing this baby. Meet Jazz!

Bio:Jazz Apple, to Applejack's surprise, is a unicorn, with both pegasus and earth pony traits (earth pony being her sturdier body and pegasus being her almost feathered chest). Coloratura explains that one side of her family has a lot of unicorns, and the other side is pegasus (she's actually Fleetfoot's cousin). She does share the Apple Family freckles. Like a ton of them, across her face and up her ears and back.

Jazz is a very mellow pony, very kind and outgoing. She does share her mother's accent, although she actually has a stronger, slower southern drawl. She also share's her mother's "counrtyisms". She ended up taking up music like her mom, but she prefers the composing side, and actually helps Coloratura write some of her music.

Basically everyone who meets Jazz is instantly charmed by her, because she's just super easy to talk to and be around. She's actually more of a listener, but she always gives great advice. She does fall in the same trap as AJ does sometimes, with being a little too honest, but she often realizes it and lets other ponies down pretty easy if it was more on the insulting side. Usually it ends up being something that everyone was thinking but refusing to say anyway, so it can both add and diffuse some tension sometimes. She's also just so charming that it's hard to stay mad at her.

One of her worse traits is that she can be kind of a pushover, putting other ponies way before herself and can become overwhelmed super easily. What can she say? She's a pony-pleaser.

When she got her piercings, AJ almost had a heart attack, but Coloratura insisted that it was important for her to express herself, or else she'd become rebellious and withholding, and AJ wants nothing more than a strong relationship with her daughter, so she doesn't go off on her for not asking permission first.
Basically what I'm saying is that Applejack and Coloratura are great parents and balance each other and I love them

Summary of AJ and Rara's relationship: they continued writing back and forth after Rara's concert in Ponyville. Rara visited Ponyville often during this time as well, mostly to see AJ. They sort of unofficially date for about a year (they say unofficially because of how they felt like they didn't see each other enough to actually "date", but they were girlfriends nonetheless). Despite Coloratura being on tour, AJ proposes during one of Rara's Ponyville visits. Coloratura of course says yes, and they have the fastest wedding possible (Rarity and Pinkie are both appalled, but the couple wanted a fast, simple ceremony). Jazz Apple is born literally like 9 months after that, because they both wanted children so bad, but Coloratura needed to keep her career on track, and Applejack is still as married to Sweet Apple Acres as ever. Rara carries the baby, and still performs during that time (don't worry, AJ checked on her daily, sometimes more than once a day, (with a little help from Spike's letter delivering)), but once she's about 5 months in, she comes back to Ponyville.

About two years after Jazz Apple is born, Coloratura starts touring again, but doesn't stray too far from Ponyville, ceasing her tours always during the slow season for Applejack, so that AJ isn't completely engrossed in her work when Rara is around. Coloratura stops touring for good and only does local shows when Jazz is about 17.
