I've had this idea floating around in my head for a while now and finally got it down on one sheet. It's a bit longer than expected but gives a full summary of all my hints on making a successful bouncing emoteA great example of the Squash + Stretch technique is

Not only does the squash stretch help animate, it also shows where the missing portion of the emote went in your first example.

this is my bouncing emote it is a bit of a small bounce but it shall do!

You could do with adding some movement to the eyes such as a delay or blink but overall its nice
