Description My new laptop still hasn't got PS installed so forgive the absolutely terrible terrible scan, I tried to edit it with some random online program, but it's still not very good. Will re-upload when I do get photoshop c: Colors are much too blue/orange or too saturated in some areas. Entire background is gold, markings and eyes are colored with glittery gel pens.

ACEO trade with the talented, *Mistress-of-Air of their absolutely fantastic character, 'Purple Qilin'

I had so much fun with this! Tried a different method, first doing a detailed pen drawing and laying colors over it with pencil. I actually liked it better without the colors but the colors define the character a lot more. Finished most of this card during double english class at school haha.

The Purple Qilin is supposed to be in a defensive battle stance, fading out into the void, turning into mist (hence the very pale, washed out colors) and preparing to attack. Not sure how that came out though. Hope you can forgive me for playing around with your character a little MoA!

Please have a look at their absolutely spectacular part!

Oh my goodness, such fluid consistent color direction in addition to the mixture of colors to make this really come together.
It looks magnificent for sure c:

Didn't I also take some freedom with your character. |D I've learnt to like different views and techniques, it's more interesting. I also like how you've thought something behind the art, not just draw something and that's it. Qilin is strange enough that it fits for many situations. (And don't mind the scanner, they are always like that.)
And then noting the addresses...
