I absolutely love the top knife. I'm just wondering, is it at all possible for you to make a knife like this --> [link] <-- out of bone? If so, how much do you think that would cost? Your work is amazing.

Unfortunetly my tools are broken down. However...
Lucky for you, I already have a punch dagger made. The blade isn't as intricate as that in your picture. But it is effective.
I'd take 50$ for it, or somekind of trade.

Oh my gosh, seriously?! May I see a picture of it?
Also, what kind of things are you willing to trade? I mostly draw, but I do occasionally make things out of paper or make masks. I can't believe you have a punch dagger already made. That's amazing!

Here's a picture. --> [link]

I'd be willing to trade for one of these. --> [link]
Maybe two of them, one head shot and one full body?

Here, I have another proposition for you. Although I do like the dagger, it is not quite in my style and I remembered that my friend has an entire deer carcass rotting in her yard. Here is what I am thinking:

Me, my sister, and my friend all love you work. Would we be able to send you the bones from the deer carcass and have you carve daggers for us? I know your tools are broken right now, but we can't even access the bones yet because the flesh has not finished rotting so it would be a while before we could clean them and send them to you. I know it is a huge request but I saw somewhere that you will carve daggers if the client sends you the bones. Do you think that would work?

I would be happy to...
Though I cannot guarentee when/if I'll get my tools working again.

If anything, you can ask again after the bones have been retreived and cleaned.

The sinew wrapping on the top one is very interesting. Have you ever thought of carving/inscribing them with designs or runes? The shapes of the blades are beautiful, but maybe some little decoration could add some more visual interest? Great work either way.

I have thought about adding runes. These were all comissions. When I make a set for myself I will deffinetly have characters on the blade. By the way, just in case you were curious...I can use Futhark, Klingon, or Humat runes.

These are cool. I used to carve bone myself to make knife handles and small pieces of jewellery. I love the smooth polish you can get.

After the belt sander has done it's work. I start using emery boards, nail files, and nail buffers. I have to do it by hand. But I think it is worth it.
If you'd like one made, let talk. I'd be happy to maybe trade for one of my knives.

Are they useable blades or just decorative? I've been looking for a useable bone knife for my LARPing when I cook.

Because of the softness of the bone, it holds an edge for maybe a few minutes. However, the point of the blade can cause damamge.

Alright, so I'll need a flint blade. Thank you for your time.
