Description
HA HA. Music plays every time Sten talks. Sorry again for more bad sound quality. I still need a better microphone. If you haven't played Dragon Age Origins, you probably won't get the joke. This was pretty much how it went every time I talked to him back at camp. No wonder he was so pissed at me. I kept bugging him for no good reason.
Anyway, just a short little animation I whipped up. It started mostly so I could test out animating with the shadows and the light from the fire and everything. You'll also notice there are backgrounds in there. Eh? Eh?

sten is easy to befriend. Especially if you kick his ass when he confronts you on the search for andraste's ashes. I simply put him in his place. X3

Every time I said "Actually, nevermind" to Sten, and he sort of made this disappointed face (well, he can't even make a face, but whatever) like "....Very well." I felt like I insulted him, so I wanted to make it up to him, so I talked to him again....same thing over and over.
Y U NO LOVE ME STEN?!

That's something you'll have to take up with the Maker I guess. I think leading the Grey Wardens through barks and whimpers would be pretty hard.

Okay, now I'm just not making sense. Maybe if I were a Qunari too?

I think being a Qunari would be a worse fate than not having Sten's love. If you've played DAO2, you know what I mean.

I would recommend it if you aren't opposed to the changes in battle system.

TacDavey In reply to Perinel [2011-09-01 21:39:42 +0000 UTC]
Battle system wise? Kinda. Its much faster paced. Though, you still have the area of effect spells, ability to pause the game and issue them, and all that jazz. You have to press the attack button repeatedly to do an attack combo, instead of just telling your character who to attack and watching them attack until you give them another command. I think the battle system is completely better than the first, but that might also be because I didn't much like the battle system in the first. There is a demo you can download that will let you test it out.

It actually sounds way more fun, but for someone who panics easily like me, I'm not so sure Last question (I'm so sorry to bother you so much) would a laptop handle it? It's all I have.

Hey, no worries. It's not like typing responses is hard work. Though I will start to charge a small fee.
Certain laptops should be able to play it like any computer. It depends on your laptop. They should list the minimum system requirements on the website. Check to make sure they match up with your laptop's system. I can't honestly say what the requirements should be, since I played it on 360, not computer. If the demo can play on your laptop, it seems reasonable to think that game would, but I don't know if that's necessarily true.

Yeah, I totally got cattle from here to the moon. They're pretty homicidal, though, so it's not my fault if you wind up on their horns..

Of course they can't, they don't have hands, you silly person.
Something about changing the controls and whatnot...and it escalated into this.

TacDavey In reply to Perinel [2011-09-15 18:20:24 +0000 UTC]
Indeed. So they would be at a severe disadvantage to mutant polar bears, which have six.
I'll admit, they don't usually go this long.

Perinel In reply to TacDavey [2011-09-15 19:31:02 +0000 UTC]

TacDavey In reply to Perinel [2011-09-16 15:55:23 +0000 UTC]
You said before that your aces didn't have hands. And I have no idea who that ace is. But it doesn't look like the type that can take mutant polar bears. There a few things that fit into THAT category.
There has to be some kind of comment limit.
