Description
Foxworth, caught looking for birds! The photo probably isn't "good quality" but for some reason I adore the over exposure from my light source. (I promise this isn't a photo manipulation in any form -just one of those rare moments in time when the camera clicks and you end up with something that makes you smile. I only wish I could have caught more of Fox's head in the photo.

I'm into abstract-ish styles and rather like it.

I'm not into explaining my photo. If you didn't like it than you shouldn't have commented.

Anyone can criticize. constructive criticism would have been more welcome. Its going to offend people when you prod at something they are truly proud of. What did you expect me to think? This photograph wasn't taken with fancy equpiment, precise positioning or -heck, I didn't even tell the dog to stay. It was a moment it time where the button clicked and I thought I caputured something quite interesting. I like the emotion (-the raw curiousity that is a key trait to this breed.)I like the angle..the contrasts, the vague details. I don't care if its over exposed. I take pictures for myself, and in the style I personally fancy. I posted this particular one becuase it was unique. Poorly exposed or not. Now if you have something helpful to say that would perhaps aid my skills in photography in general,I would gladly invite those words. But if you just want to tell me whats so horrible about them then its probably best you not look at my photos anymore.

it is not the equipment that makes the photo.. it is u.
I did not say it is horrible.. I specifically mentioned aspects I thought were lacking.. is that not critique? I thought if such things were improved the overall photo would be improved. My words were not sadistic, but they were attempting to be informative.
I think perhaps a faster shutter speed would have created a much better foto. By increasing the speed the shot would have less effects of motion and by bringing the exposure a stop down it would increase the definition of the wonderful natural textures of fur, ground and bark. I believe the contrast of those textures would add a lot to the shot, especially as you already have a good composition and it would create three areas across the photo of tree, ground and dog.
I say these things not to dis or be mean.. it is merely meant as an expression of my thoughts and maybe to open u to another view and possibly learn something. I thought comments were meant for real commentary on a piece of art. Not just blind praise. I guess I am wrong however. Sorry i wasted ur time trying to offer a differing opinion.

If you would have approached commenting like you just did in that second paragraph I would have not of been offened. Not at all. If offers explanation and help to improvement. Thats what (I thought) the point of commenting was. Isn't all suppose to be in good spirits?
Basically telling me I'm a glory hound isn't exactly helpful. I take critism and use it,when its useful. Each comment you left me has been a put down. At least that's what I am feeling. I'm proud of what I have and don't want to change it. I mean this as nicely as possible (honest,I'm not naturally argumental),please, respect me enough to not poke at my image when I'm happy with it,and I'll repsect your opinion knowing that you are a person entitled to think whatever you wish.
