This image is very special.I drew this for the front page of [link] ( A dog simulation game)
It was a great honor to take part in some mildly commercial work
The lines took me a while to sketch and clean up for scanning but the end result was well worth it. Oddly enough I didn't do as much research as I should have for the two breeds. However, people seem to recongnize them easy enough. The finished result gives us a Pharoah Hound and a spunky Beagle playing in the sand!

Yeah, taking care of the dogs gets...tedious? I stopped raising dogs on FP a while ago and now I'm doing commissions and working up until I can attempt IB images again.

Oh my goodness.. is that a dobermann? If it isn't, it sure looks like one. Anyway! Your artwork is simply gorgeous. I love the way you draw doggies (or canines in general, for that matter). I have a brown dober, who I'd like to be drawn by some decent canine artist.

XD When I saw this on FP I sort of sat there for 10 minutes or so going... woah. then I proceeded to be slightly jealous of your talent... XD then I tried to figure out how you made the sand look like sand.

Funny thing is,the key to making sand is not to make it look like sand. People like to make it look extra grainy becaese that's what sand actually is xD but noooot Dia! She thinks its goo.
